• Zuzana is dedicated to her religion. She attends events 6 days a week and feels her beliefs are the only reasonable beliefs to have. Is it emotionally intelligent for her to mock others that don’t agree with her beliefs?

• Fartana is the CEO for a small cap company. The company’s revenue has decreased year over year since he took his position. Some of the board members have mentioned he often shows a lack of emotional intelligence when making decisions. Do you think his lack of emotional intelligence has led to the company’s decline in the market?

• SCENARIO #3:

• Vishy was running for president of a dance troupe in his college. Some students who run the newspaper of the college told him to comment on a hostile group of students who go around harassing other people who don’t attend any of the dance competitions. Vishy made the comment to them, “They need to stand back and standby.” Was this comment by Vishy a lack of emotional intelligence or is he just a brilliant potential dance troupe president?
