Episode 168: What’s Going on at the Border?
- Scenario 1: Torrance thinks the DHS, department of homeland security are just in all their practices and are keeping American safe from the dangerous criminals trying to cross the borders. He says there is no proof that people are being mistreated. What evidence can people bring forward to show Torrance that there are children being treated inhumanely at the border?
- Scenario 2: Laurel has a large family of 6 children and 2 grandparents living under one roof. She thinks that nothing is happening at the borders anymore, since the mainstream media has stopped discussing it. Would it be a good idea for her to research what is happening there or focus on the immediate pressures the pandemic has placed on her family?
- Scenario 3: Makiya works at a large retail outlet in the southwest of the USA. She was really close to a co-worker that recently was deported during her company’s annual audit. Should she go visit her co-worker, since she was close to that particular individual, or is it best not to deal with people involved in these types of situations?
